Indian auto market is changing rapidly and now the cars are getting modern and well equipped. Unlike earlier, today if you are out to buy a new car and are on a budget, it does not mean that you have to compromise on style, features or security. Even the manufacturers have begun to understand what today's customers want and today most of the cars in the market come with value-of-money value. And we have listed some of the best options under  10 lakhs. Most of the cars in which we have listed here are trim and variants with 10 lakhs points with one model or two above the indicated point. Although there are some better options, but only their original form comes down to 10 lakhs  and most variants, which really value, are worth the above. Therefore, we have deliberately tried to avoid such cars.

1. Maruti Suzuki Swift

New-gen Maruti Swift was selling this year in India only in February and by June 2018 the car maker had already sold one million units of the car. Needless to say,  4.99 lakhs to  8.29 lakhs (X-showroom, Delhi) Price is within the limit of it is one of the hottest cars you can buy under 8 lakhs. Presenting a fresh outdoor design, a new group of all-new interior and new and improved features, the new Swift is actually a value-to-money car. While the engine options remain unchanged and it is getting 1.2 liter petrol and 1.3 liter diesel engine, Maruti has worked on the fuel efficiency of the car, so now you get 22 kilograms in the petrol model and 28.4 kms in diesel

2. Hyundai Grand i10 Facelift:

The right opponent for Ignis, Hyundai Grand i10 Fcelift was recently launched and also some amendments along with some cosmetic updates. Grand i10 was always well-appointed when the idea came to the top trim you've had a reverse parking camera, 1 GB of storage and similar music. Fesilift model is even better and you 7-inch touchscreen Infotement system, Android Auto, Apple Karple, LED DRL and slightly more powerful than a new 1.2-liter diesel engine offers 1.1-liter unit in the old model. Grand i10 has a large cabin and is super practical for driving daily. In this case, 19.77 kmpl and 24.95 kmpl have been claimed for petrol and diesel models respectively. In addition, the prices for the Grand i10 start from 4.74 lakhs and go up to 7.50 lakhs. Certainly worth considering if 10 lakhs is your budget.

3. Maruti Suzuki Ignis:

This is the car which is making all the waves right now. Maruti Suzuki was keen to have a product in her portfolio, which was targeted at a young audience and Ignis was launched. The car has a luxury quinoe and it is packed with amenities, it keeps the real sensible to keep it conscious of the genre. Ignis is tried and tested in a 1.2-liter petrol engine and also has an AMT option with regular 5-speed manual gearbox. The interior is well-appointed and will certainly fulfill buyers with sophisticated sensibilities. Ignis Maruti is performing well for Suzuki and we are waiting a lot from what we hear. Claims fuel efficiency of 20.89 kmph for Ignes Patrol / AMT model. The price of ignition starts from 4.46 lakhs for the base petrol version, which goes upto 7.04 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Diesel model is no longer on sale.
4. Tata Tiago:

Tata Tiago was a real game changer for home-grown automakers. The first car based on the new car design design philosophy, Tiago is the first time the longest time to get out of the boring Indica design.  3.35 lakh to  6 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) valuable, This is one of the best cost-of-money hatchbacks under the  8 lakh price point, in which stylish compact design, smart interior and also AMT option in petrol version. The top-end model itself will come under 8 lacs, which offers alloy wheels, premium fabric interior, multi-functional steering wheel and more. The Toyota comes with a set of efficient petrol and diesel engines - 1.2 liter petrol and 1.05 liter diesel engine.

5. Hyundai i20 Facelift:

The popular Hyundai i20 got a new look this year and in addition to the latest design language and style updates of the car maker, the car also came with a group of updated features. i20 Facelift gets a new black cascading grill, a revised headlamp with a new LED daytime lamp, and a new bumper housing, a new Arrowhead Foglamp, and an integrated spoiler. All these changes show this new family. Prices for cars start at 5.34 lakh and go up to 9.15 lakh for the top-end model. Under the hood, the Hyundai i20 Facelift gets more sophisticated engines but with the same output. In this 82-BPP 1.2-liter Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine has been connected with the 5-speed manual unit, and an 8-bHP 1.4-liter U2 CRDI diesel engine has been connected with the 6-speed manual gearbox.

6. Ford Freestyle:

The latest member of Ford India's line-up is the first crossover car of the All-New Freestyle Company and is based on Figo Hatchback.  5.09 lakhs - 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) The entire series of valuable, new freestyle is under 10lakhs. The car also has good road presence and is equipped with smart features such as the Dash-Top Touchscreen Infotainment System with Apple Carpalle and Android Auto and the company's Sync 3 connectivity system. The car is also available as reverse parking system, dual airbag and ABS standard. 1.5 liters diesel motor has been tried and tested for all the new 1.2-liter petrol engine and 5-speed gearbox in the car.

7. Honda Amaze

Honda Amaze also faced a generation upgrade this year, and it would not be an overstate to say a new car. This car is based on a new generation platform and comes with all the new designs and styles tailored to Honda's latest design language.  The value of the whole gasoline line is Rs 8 lakhs in the range of 5.6 lakh to 8.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), whereas the entry and mid-edition of diesel trim is also below that price point. While the car LED headlamp or even the projector misses the choice of headlamp, which are also quite common in entry-level cars, but Amaze comes with a good road presence and CVT automatic option for both petrol and diesel types. . The engine, however, remains unchanged because the car gets 1.2 liters of petrol and 1.5 liters of diesel and the fuel efficiency rating in the east is 19.5 km (MT) and 19 km (CVT), while the diesel version provides 27.4 kmplan (MT) and 23.8 kmpl (CVT).

8. Maruti Suzuki Desire:
New-General Maruti Suzuki not only dropped 'Swift' in its name but also made a light weight of more than 100 kg compared to the old model. This is courtesy of the new Hertech design platform, which also reduces the upcoming next-gen Swift hatchback. The new design makes a lot of sense in this price segment because the car comes with many new and premium features with impressive design and style. Safety features like airbags and ABS come in standard form at trim levels and there are several options to consider the base version starting from  5.56 lakh, which are a number of options to choose from the version list. Although the AMT option is also available in mid forms - VXI is a VDI, which is actually a very decent pickup. Like most other hatchbacks and sedan duos, the toggle is also essentially a compact sedan version of Tiago. While Together's Front and Tiago looks like, the last is where the genre plays a part. Tata managed to look at the tire as a coupe from the back, making it more appealing than the other sub 4-meter sedan, which does not significantly cut backwards design. Triggers also get many features like touchscreen infotainment system with mirrlink, climate control and color-coded AC vents. It gets the same engine and transmission options as Tiago, which is not a bad thing. The fuel efficiency claimed on the tower is 22 kmph for petrol variant and 26 kmph for diesel version. The price for the XE Revotron version starts from 8.88 lakhs and increases to  7.19 lakhs for the XZ version.

10. Volkswagen Ameo:

Ameo is for Polo, which is Tigor for Tiago, Aspire is for Figo, and Accent is for Grand i10 and so on. However, the overall list may not be as appealing as some others in this list, but VW has done well to load the amo completely with features such as rain-sensing wiper, cornering illumination, rear-view With camera, touchscreen infotainment system mirrlink, climate control and even a cruise control. All types of amoeos get ABS and dual airbags as standard. Polo pulled a lot of flakes to get enough features but with Ameo, VW has corrected it. Amio gets 1.2-liter petrol engine with 5-speed manual gearbox and 1.5 liter diesel engine, which can be specified with a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG automatic unit. Ameo is one of the more expensive cars in our list, but it is a practical subcompact sedan, loaded with features and solid engines. Prices start at 5.62 lakh and reach 9.99 lakh.

Special mention: Although they do not take the best purchase under 10 lakhs, we thought it would be a good idea to mention them at least here. You can also buy the base trim of Vitara Breeza, Ciaz, Ecosport and TUV 300. But we will not accept them as the best buy.
